Turnip is a very appreciated vegetable, not only for its taste, but also for its organoleptic properties. It’s considered a kind of food belonging to “ poor cookery” but, from a nutritional point of view, it has a strong presence of values. Useful in case of tiredness, acne or thyroidal diseases thanks to its high content of vitamins A  and C which have antioxidant functions and give strength to our immune system. Turnip sauce is very tasteful, then it’s extremely versatile in cookery. Excellent as appetizer, especially if spread on bread crumbles, or as side with many hard cheeses. It matches perfectly with many meat dishes.
